Opening hours are from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, from November 22nd to January 6th, 2025. 

Rata Market Christmas Special 

If you’re looking for original and handmade products, don’t miss the Rata Market at the Palacio de Congresos in Palma. This market is renowned for its creativity and unique selection of handcrafted goods. The Christmas edition features over 40 stalls offering a variety of gifts, from clothing and accessories to gourmet products and festive decorations. Additionally, there will be activities for the whole family, including live music and workshops for children. The event will take place on December 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM. 

Christmas Activities at Forn de Sa Llotgeta 

In the heart of Palma, Forn de Sa Llotgeta transforms into a magical place during Christmas. With a program full of activities such as wine and gin tastings and creative workshops, this market becomes a sensory experience. Highlights include the technical wine tasting on December 29th and the wild Christmas wreath workshop on December 30th. The activities are designed to immerse you in Christmas traditions and creativity. 

La Purísima School Christmas Market 

The La Purísima School Christmas Market is one of the most charitable options on the island. Organized by the users of the Occupational Service, all proceeds support the well-being and development of the program’s participants. Held from December 2nd to 5th, this market offers handmade products crafted with care. It’s open from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with free entry. 

Creativissim Christmas Wonderland 

If you’re seeking something different, the Creativissim Christmas Wonderland in Inca is the perfect spot. Held from December 12th to 15th, 2024, in Plaza Mallorca, this event features a market with handcrafted products alongside interactive activities for the whole family, such as craft workshops, live music, and an enchanted garden. Entry to the marquee costs €1, while children can enjoy the event for free. 

Christmas Market at Pueblo Español 

The Christmas Market at Pueblo Español, running from November 28th to December 22nd, offers a unique atmosphere. The streets of Pueblo Español, recreating monuments from across Spain, are filled with markets, workshops, and activities for children. There’s also live music, local gastronomy, and a pet-friendly activities area. Tickets cost €10 for adults, with discounts for children. 

Santa Ponsa Christmas Market 

In the southwestern part of the island, the Santa Ponsa Christmas Market is a must-visit. Inspired by traditional German markets, this market offers a wide range of artisan products, typical food, and, of course, the famous Glühwein (mulled wine). The market runs from November 23rd to December 15th, with hours from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM on weekdays and from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekends. 

Puerto Portals Christmas Market 

The Puerto Portals Christmas Market is one of the best-known and has been recognized as one of the top five Christmas markets in Europe. From December 13th to January 6th, 2025, this market offers a unique Christmas experience with wooden stalls, live music, an ice rink, and family-friendly activities. You can visit it from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and enjoy its unmistakable atmosphere. 

Christmas Market in Lluc 

The Christmas Market in Lluc is perfect for those seeking a quieter, more spiritual Christmas experience. Held on December 21st and 22nd at the Lluc Sanctuary, this market is surrounded by nature and mountains. You’ll find handcrafted, organic, and festive products. The sanctuary also offers family and cultural activities to complement your visit. The market is open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

Christmas Market at Son Amar 

The Christmas Market at Son Amar is a magical spot for a festive family day out. Running from November 30th to December 22nd, this market features over 25 craft stalls, Christmas shows, an ice-skating rink, and a visit from Santa Claus. It’s open from Friday to Sunday, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Tickets cost €5 for adults and children, with free entry for kids under 4 years old.
